Dom Pérignon: champagne of power and elegance
Synonymous with prestige and luxury, Dom Pérignon takes its name from the abbot who, according to legend, invented re-fermentation in the bottle in the 17th century, within the abbey of Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers, near Épernay. In truth, Pierre Pérignon not only invented Champagne, but had the intuition to taste the grapes to understand their differences and correct ripeness, guessing the blend between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
