Why it’s so delicious?

Biscotto Cegliese (U' Piscquett'l) is a typical product of the peasant tradition of Ceglie Messapica, Apulia. A sweet made from almond paste, filled with cherry jam and a light lemon fragrance, made strictly by hand, 100% natural, gluten free, and lactose free.

History tells that these cookies were prepared and served by peasant families during wedding banquets or important anniversaries and also used as wedding favors.


They are great enjoyed in combination with rosoli or sweet wines.
