This is an oil obtained from the best Italian cultivars, cold pressed and with a medium fruity flavor, very versatile and suitable for any use in the kitchen.

Since 1945, the Anfosso family has been producing extra virgin olive oil in keeping with the Ligurian tradition of the Ponente region. All of Anfosso's production is aimed at enhancing the traditions of this region and the products that have always characterized it: this is where Anfosso's Riviera Ligure extra virgin olive oil comes from, a PDO product that fascinates us because of its ability to bring back to the palate the taste of the cultivar from which it derives, the very famous Taggiasca. This product lets us enter a unique territory, in the protected area of origin of the province of Imperia, endowed with high quality raw materials that are processed to give products with authentic flavor.

Tasting Notes.

The DOP Riviera Ligure oil, in elegant gift box with cardboard case, is an intense golden yellow color with delicate green reflections, clear. The nose is broad and enveloping, endowed with fruity hints of unripe tomato and white apple, complemented by balsamic notes of basil and parsley. In the mouth it is fine and complex, with tones of artichoke and nuances of celery and lettuce. Bitterness and spiciness present and balanced, with sweetness in evidence.

Pairings
Goes very well with mayonnaise, steamed lobster, snapper carpaccio, seafood salads, marinated sea bass, ovoli mushroom purée, fish cous cous, fried vegetables, sea bream tartare, fresh soft cheeses, leavened desserts.
Usage tips
For dressing raw cold and hot dishes with a delicate texture. For short cooking at moderate temperature and for frying.
