DISPENSER OF ELEGANCE
20 percent Chardonnay, 40 percent Pinot Noir and 40 percent Pinot Meunier for a Champagne that fully respects Autréau's soul and its attention to the smallest details, with balance as the ultimate goal. Harvesting is done strictly by hand, with targeted selection of the berries, both in the vineyard and on the sorting table: only the best will be destined for vinification. After a soft pressing, the musts, individually, are sent to malolactic fermentation and, only later, united in an extraordinary Cuvée that, in the bottle, will continue with a refermentation, thanks to selected yeasts, for a period ranging from 30 to 36 months. The result is Premier Cru Brut Autréau de Champillon, a Champagne that knows how to combine the personality and depth of the two Pinots with the aristocracy typical of Chardonnay.

Bright golden yellow color with curious salmon reflections, the nose releases intense aromas dominated by fruity notes of ripe yellow peach and red apple, then a progression towards dried fruit, particularly hazelnut, with a subtle granitic reminder. Full-bodied, rich and savory on the palate, it shows great smoothness in the fruity recollections and an excellent savory cue that allows it to achieve a fine gustatory balance, letting all its elegance be expressed.

A Champagne for all occasions, it is particularly suitable for aperitifs and goes beautifully with all appetizers, both land and sea.

The Winery

Autréau de Champillon: an unmistakable style.
The Autréau family's Domaine is located in Champillon sur Marne, a small village 5 km from Eperany on the road to Reims and overlooking the Marne Valley, offering one of the most typical and striking views in Champagne. The family itself gave birth to the Domaine in 1670 and, to date, can boast 30 hectares of vineyards divided between the best crus of the Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne.
