1) Frescobaldi olive groves are located in Tuscany, around Florence, between 200 and 500 meters above sea level, and the terroir and microclimate mean that the olive trees produce fruit that is unique in the world in terms of the intensity of its nutritional and organoleptic properties.
2) Harvesting always takes place before the olives ripen, in October and by the end of November. In this way all the properties that generally diminish as ripening progresses remain intact in the product.
3) Pressing takes place as quickly as possible, no later than 24 hours after harvesting. Frescobaldi has its own mill and in this way is able to follow the entire production chain, guaranteeing the highest quality.
4) Frescobaldi oil is filtered, which is why it is clear and residue-free. This characteristic not only makes it particularly long-lasting because it is free of substances that can deteriorate over time, but also allows it to keep its bright green color longer. Just store it in the correct way, always in its packaging, tightly closed and away from heat sources.
5) Once produced, the extra virgin olive oil is tasted and evaluated by a commission of experts and only the one deemed to be of the highest quality is selected as Laudemio Frescobaldi.
Frescobaldi embodies the essence of Tuscany, its extraordinary vocation for viticulture and the diversity of its territories.
Frescobaldi’s uniqueness stems precisely from the representation of this diversity, from its estates and from wines which express a kaleidoscope of aromas and sensations, springing from the characteristics of each individual terroir
Behind every Frescobaldi Olive Oil lies the passion of our agronomist, who know our Country and terroirs down to the finest detail. Their art, creating quality Olive Oil, requires the iron rule of respect. Respect for our tradition, which guides us, even in the midst of innovation or avantgarde solutions. Respect for Tuscany, our living land, to be cultivated in harmony and serenity. Respect for each individual terroir, borne of a unique combination of soil, altitude and microclimate, each giving us a Oil with its own matchless personality.
