Why it’s so delicious?
Twelve months of aging: the right amount of time required for Montasio to transform and acquire a strong, robust flavor. There is no cheese that can keep up with the transformation of its flavors. Its paste, now hard and crumbly, is very colorful. It is a cheese to be enjoyed in flakes, accompanied by polenta and a good glass of red wine, or grated over soups and dry pastas.

Processing
Made from fresh cow's milk, which is fortified with powdered or liquid rennet. Selected natural ferments are used, which contribute to maturation in the formation of the typical taste and aroma. Salting is done by immersion in brine for 48 hours.
