Originally, the 'red band' was a sign that the founder of this winery, Giuliano Bortolomiol, used to draw on bottles of the year's best selection of Prosecco Valdobbiadene Extra Dry. It was a selection of bottles reserved for friends, the real ones, who with Giuliano shared a passion for good wine and tradition and, today as then, that same Prosecco Extra Dry that Giuliano marked with the red pencil, walking through the corridors of his cellar, has its own label and represents the quality of Bortolomiol's best sparkling wines.
Brilliant straw yellow with a fine and rather persistent perlage, it has a subtle aromatic profile of nectarine and medlar, then unripe apple and citrus peel, with hints of lime in the background. A very pleasant taste, slightly sweetish thanks to the high sugar content, it displays a harmonious and velvety body that is easy to drink. A convivial bubble, perfect for moments in company.
As a great aperitif, it is intriguing with savoury dishes accompanied by fruit, e.g. marinated trout with lemon balm accompanied by grape jam.

A historic winery in Valdobbiadene, Bortolomiol is among the names that have contributed most to the enhancement of the area and is considered one of the oldest, most historic and influential in the entire denomination.
