'GLAMOROUS SPARKLING WINE'!

Prosecco DOC obtained from the vinification of Glera grapes, Bottega Gold, right from its packaging, is characterized as a glamorous sparkling wine, unmistakable in its golden bottle, designed to protect the liquid from any source of light and heat and thus preserve the freshness of its aromas. Don't be fooled: in addition to form here there is also substance, starting with the harvest, entirely by hand, to select only the best bunches, up to the fermentation, through the Martinotti Method, and then concluding with the aging, in the bottle, which will complete a rich, complex and persistent aromaticity.

Brilliant golden yellow in color, with fine, long-lasting bubbles, the nose releases fruity aromas of green apple, pear and citrus fruits, floral hints of wisteria, lily of the valley and acacia and a vegetal finish of sage. The taste is smooth, elegant and well balanced by freshness that gives the impetus to a slender, agile and very pleasant body.

Perfect for aperitifs, in blending to make delicious cocktails, it accompanies a risotto alla pescatora but also raw fish dishes.

The Winery

Distilleria Bottega
One of the best known and most representative brands for distillation in the Treviso area and beyond, Bottega has a history of four centuries in the world of wine and grappa behind it. From the 1600s, when our ancestors cultivated vines as tenant farmers, to today, that Bottega grappas and liqueurs are appreciated all over the world. In the 1920s Domenico Bottega was a wine merchant, a passionate oenologist, who knew how to recognize the best grapes directly in the vineyard. In the 1950s and 1960s his son, Aldo, expanded his father's passion to the world of grappa, thanks in part to an effective apprenticeship with the best master distillers in Conegliano. This is how he managed to master the deepest secrets of a fascinating craft, later developing some innovative insights, including the first single-varietal grappas. His innate entrepreneurial spirit led him to found his own distillery in 1977 and he moved his business to Pianzano di Godega, in the province of Treviso, choosing the definitive company name: Distilleria Bottega. Upon the founder's death, his son Sandro, aided by his siblings Barbara and Stefano, took over the management of the company, leading it out of anonymity also thanks to a sophisticated distillation system and the reduction of the alcohol content, a factor that ensures a softer and more delicate product. Towards the end of the 1980s, the Alexander brand was born with the first blown-glass bottles, giving grappa an elegant and refined container with high artistic value, intended for increasingly educated and refined consumers, including young people and women. Bottles that became the subject of a traveling exhibition called "Art in grappa," an event that was promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute and held in New York, Montreal, Cologne, Barcelona and Madrid. Not only grappa, but also wines, creams, liqueurs and precious distillates that give life to a range of products that are never trivial and have become objects of collection, communicating messages through their forms.
