CELEBRATING MEMORY
Created from Glera (90%) and Chardonnay (10%) grapes, Cuvée 1926 was created to celebrate the history of Valdo: it is a special Cuvée, the result of a brief maceration on the skins before vinification, to give the sparkling wine a unique character! It was the year 1926 when the first bottle was uncorked in the Valdo cellars, and this Prosecco Superiore wants precisely to celebrate that history.
Straw yellow in colour with luminous golden reflections, it is characterised by a fine and delicate perlage. The nose offers characteristic fruity aromas of pear and apple, combined with tropical and exotic sensations of pineapple, papaya and banana. Tasting with a measured roundness, it is soft but also fresh and savoury, a counterpoint that facilitates and amplifies drinking. Excellent fruit persistence, in line with the nose.
Served chilled, it is an excellent aperitif but is also excellent at any time with some accompanying appetisers. Try it with vegetable risottos and it is idyllic at the end of a meal to wash down a bowl of peaches.
