A historic family for tequila production, Mexita's since ancient times possesses not only the secrets for creating a distillate of the highest profile but, above all, very favorable geographic territories. In this strip of land in the state of Jalisco, from company-owned plantations grown solely organically, an essential and precise range is born, from 100 percent blue agave, which sees care taken in every single detail. In the reposado version, matured in wood for at least 11 months to take on the typical connotations of smoothness and structure, the place played by the choice of wood is essential, only the best oak will be able to enhance the distillate giving an elegance difficult to find in common tequilas on the market.
Intense golden yellow color extremely bright, the nose presents intense notes of field grasses and hay, along with more spicy hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, with hints of chocolate and toasted nuts. The taste is powerful, structured and smooth in the almost buttery references typical of wood, very intense in herbaceous memories and with a good persistence of toasted hazelnut.
